For our next yearly VIP Member Club content (running from 1st June 2025 through the end of May 2026), we're inviting our 6 fabulous tutors and you to, our fresh new club named 'Picture This'. Yes, we have managed to pull together SIX wonderfully creative, inspiring, unique, in-demand quilters and artists to deliver a year-long exploration (via recorded content and live interactive Zoom-Chats) of their quilt making processes, from beginning to end.

What is super-exciting and completely different to anything we've ever done before, is that not only are we challenging YOU, helping you to grow your quilting skills and find your inner artist within, with another inspiring year long adventure, but we have really laid down the gauntlet to our  six artists involved; Nicholas Ball, Luke Haines, David Owen-Hastings, Carl Brown, Sarah Spencer & Nicole Leth!

So how does it work? As you may have seen if you just watched the video, the premise is we give our artists a photograph from which they then must create a quilted piece, in any size. (Nicole will be creating a mixed media piece). There are no limits or prompts, they can create whatever they want (as can you!) They may for example create a literal representation, or just use the emotion/colours to make something. In the month featuring our chosen artist, you will also be shown the same picture. You can then watch and learn as our artist uses a myriad of techniques to create a totally unique piece from start to finish via several films (all split into bitesize chapters) in our members area. This will teach and inspire you to quilt along! Challenging yourself as you watch our quilter be challenged!

• There will be at least 3 hours of recorded content (from our artist) spread across two months

• A live Zoom in month 4 with two artists and you

• A pre-recorded Zoom in month one (featuring the reveal to both artists!)

• A monthly Zoom with Rachel and any members who want to come along to chat!

For example, Nicholas is first up in June. He will film his process and that process will be split across the first two months of the club. At the end of Month one, he will set you some homework. Then in month two he will complete his piece. Then Luke Haines will do the same in month three and four, also in month four we will all come together via a live Zoom to talk about our pieces, ask any questions and look at what we have learned. How amazing is that?!

The artists have already been given their picture prompts. Our aim was to challenge them by giving them something they wouldn't normally look to as inspiration when creating. For example, Nicholas Ball often uses flora and nature to aid his designs. So we gave him something totally alien to him, a portrait of a person! Just how will he interpret it? Will he create from an emotional perspective of the subject matter, or will he think about the colour? What will be his starting point? What techniques will he use? He can create whatever he wants to create, which means the door is completely open! Let me tell you, they are all excited, but feeling very challenged!

When you're watching the content, you will be watching the inner workings of an artist's mind, challenging themselves in ways you have NEVER seen before! Which in-turn may inspire you to find your own working process. At the very least, you'll be learning lots of techniques used in a variety of ways. Every single one of the other five artists have been challenged in a similar way, and they're really quite excited about it!

So, in summary, through monthly video content in our private VIP Member Club members area and a live Zoom-Chat with our artists every quarter (as well as a monthly ZOOM meet up with Rachel and members) you will watch the challenges unfold and learn so much along the way... It's a totally unique opportunity to get creative, be inspired and learn from 6 incredible artists, as they themselves learn something new! HOW EXCITING!
