This is a little departure for us from regular offerings and we sincerely hope you'll show Dee some love and purchase the video of this wonderful three-hour class!....
Introduction by Dee:-
Hi! I'm a quilter of 18 years standing and the driving force behind Pixel Quilts (@pixelquilt on Instagram) and recently I've ventured into a new arena – The Quilt Dress! With a love of all things quilty, I will break down this easy-to-make dress pattern into simple non-seamstress language and easy steps that even a quilter with no clothes-sewing experience can follow! I very much hope you'll join me!...
What You Will Learn in this Online Interactive Workshop:-
Participants will learn how to create this loose-fitting, pullover dress with extending collar and side pockets. It is highly recommended that participants create the dress in the class on regular fabric to give them experience before attempting to use a quilt top to make it. Dee will outline the additional steps needed to create the pattern out of a quilt top, including sharing with participants which quilt tops to pick, where to find them and even quilt patterns that are suitable for creating into a dress. Dee will also share all of the hints and tips she has learned the hard way when attempting to make dresses from quilt tops.
