I’m a big fan of organizing my space, and two of my favourite things to use are drawstring bags and fabric baskets. The Ada Drawstring Bucket combines the best of both. It functions like a fabric basket when you need it to, but can be secured at the top with the drawstring for storage or travelling. To bring your organizing to the next level, the bag has a handy divider to help you sort your projects or items inside each bag.
 
What You Will Learn in this Online Interactive Workshop:-
This workshop will teach you how to make your own Ada Drawstring Bucket, which includes cutting, interfacing, creating a boxed corner, and inserting the divider. Additionally, learn how to apply the divider feature to other similarly constructed bags!
 
Skill Level for this Online Interactive Workshop:-
Beginner
Understanding of using the sewing machine, how to cut fabrics, and basic sewing are required.
 
Material requirements for this Online Interactive Workshop:-
½ yard fusible fleece such as TP971F Fusible Thermolam® Plus or Vilene Iron-on Fleece Medium Loft or Legacy 987F Fusible Fleece
½ yard medium woven interfacing such as Pellon SF101 or Viline Woven G700 or Legacy L101 OR use another medium weight non-woven fusible interfacing
48” 5mm cotton cord or ribbon for drawstring, as a substitute, use soft laundry line
Matching thread for sewing and top stitching
 
Fabric requirements for this Online Interactive Workshop:-
Scrap fabrics are suitable for this project, as the majority of the pieces are small. If using scraps, follow cutting instructions for sizes.
